With a focus on older single women, we share a couple of stories from around the world of people who have successfully developed a home to share with others, and are happily living in it together:

"Meet Louise, Martha, Bev and Sandy, aged 65 to 71, who share ownership of a 3,400-square-foot home in downtown Port Perry, where they all live. In the renovated heritage house with new addition, the women share kitchen, living and dining rooms and laundry room, and take turns cooking. "Janette was living alone in a century-old home in Rockwood when she started hearing about co-living for women seniors, which some call ‘Golden Girls’ living. She took a leap of faith and offered up her house to be renovated top to bottom and to have an addition added to allow for up to six seniors to co-exist in the same house comfortably.


"Somehow it was meant to be,” says Janette. “For me, it’s turned out to be much more than I had ever imagined. I didn’t realize I wanted to live this way.”" READ MORE >>
